Will we have to pay for UL sporting events?
More separation from big schools. Ugh
It's $5.00 a month to subscribe. If it's the only way to watch UL then I'll pay it. I just hope the video quality is better than ESPN 3.
Prior to the last year and a half, the RC All-Access site was a pay service with the cost about that same as what ESPN+ will be charging. I was actually aggravated when I paid for a year long subscription and about halfway through they started providing the content for free. I have no issue at all if all of the content (home/away) will be available via streaming for $50/year when you are paying half that for a one weekend series with other teams right now.
I’d bet a lot of money that big schools will eventually end up on it too. MLB, MLS, and NHL will be on it so it’s not like we’re being grouped in with a bunch of nobodies.
If you want to talk about nobodies look at C-USA’s deal.
$5 bucks ain’t a bad deal at all for what we’re getting in return.
I see Ivy League schools are now also on the +.
ESPN3 is not going away. There isn't a lot of info out there right now but I believe the transition to ESPN+ will be gradual. For us that probably means it has little bearing until next fall.
IMO I think ESPN3 will go away once all leagues have had their contracts renegotiated to ESPN+ contracts. I don't think espn is giving conference and leagues any choices right now. Everyone will move to ESPN+ so they can kill ESPN3.
ESPN3 will still exist until then, we just won't be on it.
I have cox and espn 3 at home but am out of town tonight. What is best way to see or stream Cajuns - Cowboys?
Looks like not anything but cox sports
Cc
I pay for Cox bundle every month. In my perfect world, there would be a way to watch cox while out of town.
Really, we have satellites and man has traveled to the moon.
