Men's Tennis Ranked No. 70 In Oracle/ITA Collegiate Poll

The latest Oracle/ITA Collegiate Men's Tennis Division I National Team Rankings came out on Tuesday, Feb. 27, and for the first time since 2015, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team are back in the national rankings, coming in ranked nationally at No. 70.

This is very nice and a huge accomplishment. If we had defeated Texas A&M CC last weekend we would be in the top 60 probably, we have a chance this weekend to make a huge move in a big time tournament in Corpus Christi that we play in almost every year.

This is also very large for the Cajuns in the fact that if they can stay in the top 75 ranked teams then they can get a higher seed in the Conference tournament. Currently based on this they would be the #2 seed behind #45 Georgia State, who we face at the end of the season. They will be the #2 seed this weekend in a CC tournament. They will have a chance to face off in the finals vs Texas A&M CC again if they can make it to the finals.
