Thread: UL vs ULM

I'd like to know where the Sun Belt found the clowns wearing the referee's uniforms tonight. It seem like all it took was for one of our post guys to make a mean glare at Turner or Gilbert for them to call a foul. This was one of the most miserably called games I've seen at the Cajundome this year. But they toughed it out in spite of the bad calls.

    So:
Tied for second in the division with the ASU loss and UNT win.
Chance to take the division lead if we beat UNT on their court on Thursday

Never thought in early January that I'd be saying that in late February.

The bad news from the game was that Gradnigo got hurt in the first half in the game. I saw the EMTs taking him out of the Cajundome on a stretcher. No one had any information during Jay's post-game show about his condition.

The game was extremely fun to watch, except for the officiating. Players looked really happy after the game during the fight song, and I was happy for them. Only sucky thing is I got asked to sit down in the student section, what's up with that?

At least they can take comfort to know that us TRUE fans (representing all the empty seats while RL is at the helm) have their backs!

    Hooray for us.... _
You are entitled to your opinion, I am happy for the guys, but I will not let you judge me, as I am not judging you. I know I am a true fan and have been for a decade. Once Lee is gone, I will be back in the Dome.

Maybe we should be thanking the kids who gave their all to the program, and celebrating a player like Tyren Johnson.

Instead of calculating a winning percentage that we all know is terrible. _
People who did go to the game showed their appreciation to Tyren and the other seniors. They must have appreciated it as I understand Tyren was quite emotional after the game. I am proud that young man chose to become a Ragin Cajun. Game was one of the most exciting ones I have seen this year. ULM played with as much intensity as I have seen them generate. They were better than in the game in Monroe. The big guy was a load inside for us. Had the War Hawks played that way all year, their record would be much better. Looking ahead, UNT will be very tough as they are playing better than anyone in the league now. Also, we will likely be down another man as I doubt Gradnigo will play. Say what you will about the coaching staff and the team, one has to admit that the injuries the last two seasons have been more than most teams ever have to deal with.
