Can this guy help our batters get better?

I wouldn’t say every school deals with it the same amount and losing guys early is something that is fairly new to this program and will take time to adjust on how to handle it. Our recent success has brought on new challenges with recruiting and retention. We are recruiting more guys likely to go straight out of high school and more likely to leave early. With Burke, lee and Harris all eligible we could be facing the same next year.
There is only one MLB draft. Obviously, schools with better talent lose more players. The challenge is replacing them consistently. The new ballpark will help. These are good problems. Hopefully, we get to the point when MLB consistently drafts positions other than Cajun pitchers. Yes, those guys are most likely gone in the draft. I agree losing six front line arms in two years is a big loss for any team.
Im just saying with more success comes different sets of challenges that present growing pains that will have to be dealt with differently than in the past. We will need to depend on hitting more in the future than in the past because as you said, more often than not the draft will hit us on the mound not at the plate.
It's funny.
Everybody knew what to expect when Boulanger's teams took the diamond. Those boys were the definition of swagger. They were ready to battle at the plate, every night. Yet, Boulanger's teams , as of a few years ago, actually had a lower cumulative ERA than Robe's. Then, if they didn't get the point, Jagneaux would tear them a new one.
Pernaps, Robe's buttoned down, cliche talking manner of speaking doesn't translate to swagger on the diamond? Maybe his getting tossed is just what the doctor ordered?
