We hit a 2 run hr to take the lead. Ball clears the wall and bounces back on the field. Umpires signals Home run. Umpires reverse call and call it a double. Robe goes out and talks about having dinner this evening at his place. Ump didn’t like what tony was planning to cook and politely ask him to hit the showers

You have to be able to weather a terrible call that costs you 2 runs. We still had 2nd and 3rd with no outs after the debacle and plated none! This team, at this point of the year has to have everything go their way to win, especially against a quality team. I dont care what there name is, Wright St is a quality team with upperclassmen post season experience. I saw some fight from our guys today, but they don't have the sack, yet, to overcome BS. Robe obviously had a legitimate beef, but he no doubt got tossed on purpose to get a spark after controversy. Usually works, our guys struck the ____ out...again

Still have to feel for them though. The game has a way of working against teams that are struggling. That was a big lick in a critical moment of the game and maybe, season.

You have to stand up and fight there, no doubt. Seems like LeHare is one of few ‘dudes’ on this team. Need more people to stand up and be counted.

The fact remains that we have a major issue in the third base coaching box, young on the back end of the pitching staff and started the season very poorly. Wright St is a quality team, but not a team that should come into our ballpark and take a series from us. Totally and completely unacceptable.

I saw that too. The dude needs to be asked to never return to the stadium.

I think Lahare has earned a more permanent role. Aside from being one of our better outfielders, he walks a lot and is a really good base runner. We need guys who get on and cause havoc on the bases.

I just got back to BR. Today was my first game at the new park. I saw that event staff cat chest bumping, high fiving and going nuts celebrating with the Wright State players down past the first base line. It wasn't just a "congrats on the win" kind of thing. It was a "screw the Cajuns" thing. That cat should not be at our events.

I think some of his coworkers tried to reel him in once it got personal with a couple of our fans. He shouldn't ever be working our events.

Exactly. That pitcher did throw some wicked pitches to the first two hitters following the HR recall. But it seriously hurts to have runners on 2nd and 3rd, no outs, and come up empty. I know Tony wanted as much to fire up the team as he wanted to put a foot up an ump's ___... but that HR should not have been recalled. The first base ump should have defended his call.
