This team is not a bad team and the offense will improve, as they go. There have been bright spots and they are fun to watch. Some young pitchers stepping up. Kasuls is a better hitter this year. McKinnon has done extremely well since Austin, throwing out 3 runners on Saturday, I think. Shut down a good running team. A very solid catcher and if his bat comes around, Handsome might be watching a lot the rest of the way. Heydon has a ton of range and a good arm. He is a future star. O'Neal looks good at 3B and the outfield is very good. Lots of range.

We batted .231 this weekend, ALOT better than last. Defense is solid fielding .985. Any coach in the country would take that.

I'm with you. I'm plssed like everyone else, but we still don't know a thing about this team. This team can still end up being a bunch of overachievers once their confidence arrives.

Btw, I don't see enough people talking about McKinnon. The dude has been very solid since that first night in Austin. He's been nothing short of fantastic defensively.

Over 12% of the regular season is behind us. By Sunday nearly 20% of the season will be history. This is not pro ball. I know this is still not a sprint. However, there is not plenty of time to fix things.

Yes, .231 is much better than the .131 from the previous weekend, but no coach in the country would "take that". That would have been good for 289th in the country last season.

Maybe you mean that any coach would take a fielding % of .985? If so, yes, that is very good.
