Won't collapse. Team hitting will improve (Cantrelle won't end up .175 BA) ending up at .250ish BA, not much higher OB%. Pitching will not be as strong as last year, about where we are now 3.7 ERA. There will likely be some outliers, overachievers at the plate, but could be balanced with some disappointments.
It is what it is.

I’m with you. I’m plssed like everyone else, but we still don’t know a thing about this team. This team can still end up being a bunch of overachievers once their confidence arrives.
Btw, I don’t see enough people talking about McKinnon. The dude has been very solid since that first night in Austin. He’s been nothing short of fantastic defensively.
Apparently I'm not remembering the high powered offenses from the last 3 years
No matter how many times its said in different ways...the pitching isn't the problem
I did the same. I did everything in my power to go to every game possible, or if I couldn't be there, listen on the radio. I was in the emergency room a couple hours before game two of the super regional getting stitched up for a cut on my face. I went straight to the ball park after. I soaked in every ounce of that season and rode every emotion. I was in a funk or depression for like 2 months after the last out in game 3 against Ole Miss. I didn't want to take any of it for granted because I knew how special it was.
