We are a mid major program with a shoe string budget that's has overachieved for years and has somehow competed on the national level. We are not in the SEC. please tell me how many mid major programs have been National seeds in the past 5 years. We all want this program to succeed. We all want this team to get off to a better start every year. But reality is we a not LSU or Florida or any other P5 that gets 1st and 2nd round draft picks out of high school to actually go to college. Those kids step right in and play immediately and make an impact. We get the late round picks that come to school. And the talent level is obv different.

We play in a palace compared to some PAC 12 programs. Our attendance levels are top 10 in the nation. We've had nationally ranked recruiting classes since 2014. I don't give a ____ how many mid major programs have been National seeds in the past 5 years. None of them are...US. Your excuses keep piling up.

If you recruit good talent and it isn't performing it's your fault.....if you recruited inferior talent that can't preform to your expectations it's your fault. It is what it is as a Head Coach. I'm not gonna panic yet but I will say this....these excruciatingly slow starts the last 2 seasons and the start this season are very concerning.

Biggest thing we are not equipped to handle like others is losing Gunner Leger, Wyatt marks and Evan guillory and not taking a step back. Add those 3 arms to this team and I promise you the entire teams level of play raises...all 3 phases.
