Plenty of skeptics here, me included at times. Marlin has put together a special team with extraordinary leadership and solid citizens. This team and staff represent us well.

Proud to be a Cajun basketball supporter tonight and proud to do it with THIS team. Still have plenty to accomplish but this is a sweet moment. Let’s enjoy it. CHEERS BOYS.

Very proud to be a Ragin Cajun Basketball fan tonight. Fine group of young men just clinched an out right regular season conference championship. They now have tied the school record for wins in a season with 25. Next week they will likely break that record and have a chance to be the first team to go undefeated in the CajunDome. Also, happy to call many on the coaching staff friends. They also worked extremely hard to make this happen and they deserve all the congratulations they will receive in the next few days.

Hopefully many of you are also proud, happy, and recognize there is reason to celebrate. Although I have harped for much of the season on these guys not getting enough recognition for their hard work, I trust that will come now. I understand the view that the wins did not mean much without a title. Now we will hang a banner in the Dome and maybe more from these guys.

I 'm not a basketball guy but credit is due when it's due. Glorious season and to be an OUTRIGHT CONFERENCE CHAMPION is beyond words!!! Congrats Men, Ya ll are CHAMPIONS!!!

Absolutely! And when we win the SBC Tournament, I will give Coach Marlin and his staff the credit they have earned.

Tonight they answered the challenge in the second half after the teams had to be separated. They showed great poise and stuck it up the backsides afterwards. Congrats to Davis and Stove for giving the Cajuns 38 pts off the bench and a big lift tonight.

I mentioned it earlier in the week but i've criticized Marlin as much as anyone here. This has been the funnest season to watch as a fan, for me, perhaps ever but its certainly on par with that team of Wade, Green etc that went to the tournament and lost to Louisville. It was fun having a team that nobody could question as the champion and best team in the league. Congrats coach, players and all who are associated with the program. You guys deserve more recognition but I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.
