So who do you guys think gets the start today? Armstrong, DMO, Perrin, Cox?
I bet Schmidt could throw a couple innings if needed.

There was no stop sign. I was watching the runner on second as soon as I saw it was a squeeze. He turned the corner full speed watching the ball. When it got by the pitcher, he was in full stride already. He never hesitated.
Are you saying that Talbot didn’t throw up a stop sign? Nothing you said states he didn’t. I was listening and Topham made it a point to say it as MAT said earlier. I wasn’t there and it doesn’t show on the replay on ragincajuns.com. He seems to know baseball and I don’t think he would say that if he didn’t see it.
With that being said, none of us can really say what that would mean. Was it just adrenaline? Was it part of the play to throw up a stop sign? Or was it rebeling against Talbot? Some of us want to hope is #3 but none of us can know for sure.
I didn’t see a stop sign, but I wasn’t watching Talbot... I was watching Gavin......and he was watching the ball. To me, I thought it was a clear double suicide, and Gavin just kept going when the pitcher misplayed the ball.
Almost as much fun re-watching it today, as it was watching from the Tigue yesterday.
BTW: I wonder if anyone had any interactions with WSU fans that made the trip down...guess they enjoyed Friday more than yesterday, lol, but still wonderering how they are faring in acadiana, the Tigue/game atmosphere, etc. Also, we were talking about the odd scheduling on their end: go from Ohio to Nola last weekend, back to Ohio (?) then back all the way down to LFT this weekend. Either that's a lot of traveling, or two weeks away from home/school.
