I didn’t see a stop sign, but I wasn’t watching Talbot... I was watching Gavin......and he was watching the ball. To me, I thought it was a clear double suicide, and Gavin just kept going when the pitcher misplayed the ball.
Pretty sure you have it right but even if he ran through the stop sign I don't think it was a slight to Talbot. Players run through stop signs all the time.

That's not that big of a deal, running through a 3rd base stop sign. When I initially read the post I assumed the batters ignored the call from JT when at the plate. Am I missing something?

Players hated him last year & he struggles to communicate with them hearing the same things this year .. brings up the question why is he still here
Also, we were talking about the odd scheduling on their end: go from Ohio to Nola last weekend, back to Ohio (?) then back all the way down to LFT this weekend. Either that's a lot of traveling, or two weeks away from home/school.
At DC, Robe said they came straight from NOLA. Were in Lafayette on Tuesday for sure.
