The team has already improved a lot since Friday. We’re playing 20 guys, 7-8 true freshmen, lost our best hitter after 4 innings, faced 3-4 elite arms and still were a DMo meltdown from winning a series, on the road, against ranked club.

We’re never going to be a Gorilla Ball club. It’s not what these guys teach. The system they do teach, was executed this weekend, which is a very very good thing.

Should have won the series, but pitching was definitely a plus this weekend. Today was a nice win against a ranked team on the road.

I saw Alum81 supporting the Cajun softball program at Lamson Park last week. After the win no one at the park was jumping up and down yelling “take that Mike!” Like you do on here right after a big win. They were yelling Geaux Cajuns like any UL softball fan should be doing.
