Why isn’t CUSA considered a mid major basketball conference?

Actually, I don't think it's a big deal that it's getting publicized. It's national recognition.

If fans are throwing it around, that's one thing. It's another story when our official social media sites are posting a secondary, made up poll. In fact, I'll do some research and see if Gonzaga is embracing this poll. My guess is, hell no.

These are the same type folks that want a G5 playoff in football. It further separates us from the rest of FBS and in MBB, D1.

Because the NCAA thinks Louisville, Memphis and Marquette are still in CUSA.

I’m torn on this. We gotta start somewhere and anything to drum up the excitement for support I’m ok with. If we put a nice run together over the next few years this can be left in the rear view.

Personally I like the poll.

I would like a top-25 poll(s) for teams that lost Seniors, start more than 2 freshman (hello Kentucky), play in an open air stadium, have a first year coach, draw at least 4,000 to a game, don't draw 4,000 to a game. Are a mid-major, shouldn't be a mid-major.

It's harmless, don't take yourself too seriously. The P5 schools aren't checking to see if you promoted yourself.

So go ahead promote yourself.
