I called Playstation customer support. The guy said vue works for some people and doesn't work for others. The guy was nice enough to walk me through the process and I am all squared with vue. I have LUS fiber internet though. The guy said he thinks the problem is with Cox.
Another option is to use a tablet or cell phone and your data network instead of wifi. Vue should work with that.
Gee, all I had to do was flip to channel 407 on my Sat.
I called LUS to add LHN to my account but she told me I needed to contact ESPN through their website; when I go there it states I must have a provider. So to me it looks like until LUS adds LHN to their channel options we cannot get it.
Oh well.
You can get it. Follow these steps in order:
1. Go to www.psvue.com
2. Create an account
3. Sign up for the Elite package Free Trial
4. Launch your WatchESPN app or go to ESPN3.com
5. Go to settings on your WatchESPN app and change your current Cable Service Provider from LUS to PlayStation Vue.
6. Successfully watch LHN on your WatchESPN app. Stream it to tv, etc.
7. Get a Cajuns series win or sweep.
8. Cancel your PSVue App before 5 days are up, and don't get charged a dime.
9. Go back to your WatchESPN app and change the settings back to LUS as your provider and all is good in the world.
Done.
I did it last night and it worked. I instructed my dad how to do it this morning and it works for him now too.
Know it is a little late notice but we just verified that we have the Longhorn network ready to go. We will have all games this weekend.
