When is our golf team going to step things up? In the last 3 years, UL has finished 10th out of 12 teams, 9th out of 11 teams, and 8th out of 12 teams in SBC championship play. In the tournaments it played in those past 3 seasons, UL has finished in the bottom half each year of approximately 60% of the tournaments it has participated in. The highest it ever finished in a tournament was 2nd in 2015. In our own Louisiana Classic tournament these past 3 years, UL has finished 5th, 3rd and 8th. Our next tournament is the Louisiana Classic on Feb. 26 & 27. With this new practice facility, it is time for UL Golf to perform better.
