17 hits. Just wish the pitching would have been better. KJT did a nice job in her innings. Hope she starts against Iowa.

Was this the finish of the rain delay from yesterday?

Yes. It stared in the 5th inning at 5-3 UL. Ended in 9 innings 14-10 Cajuns.

Keep in mind this team had virtually zero fall practice.. That's where strides are made. Theyll get better as the season goes. Just gotta hold on.

If you haven't seen the Broussard Sports Complex you might wonder where they got $33M to build this on 122 acres. This complex is state of the art. Every imaginable sports that is played with a ball. Come on Horse Farm of Lafayette. Let's get it started. I guess this project will go the same route of planning I-49.....Most of us will be putting our teeth in a glass of water and saying, "did they start yet on the big play ground on Johnston Street. How is that highway coming along, did they decide where they want to build it yet. Hand me another bowl of pudding please. Did bingo start yet".......

Concerned about what? We're in a transition phase. They'll be some bumps along the way. I think we need to be very supportive through our ups and downs... in order to work our way up much faster.

We have enough emotionally disturbed people waiting in the wings to attack the new regime. You do not want to look like one of them. They're as misguided as a rudderless turd in a sewer drain whirlpool.
