I agree. Still today an interesting fact. St Johns with an 0/11 Big East record upset #4 Duke last week, and #1 Villanova last night. That's the first time in history a team with a losing record in February has beaten two top ten teams in a row. The 3rd time since 1977 to beat #1 this deep in the season.

I'm betting both Marlin and Scooter Boy Coach are using this material to motivate the squads.

The key is starting fast. Can’t afford to let them get out to the same kind of lead that Arlington did. They are a much better team. We need to weather the early storm and play our game grinding them out then pulling away in the second half.

Good post there. If we can start fast, that will be an advantage. However I expect them to throw us a punch early as Panthers are very up for this game and will have a filled HS gym spurring them on. That can be a tough atmosphere to play in. Key is to withstand that early punch and keep our composure. We do that it will likely be a game at halftime and maybe our depth helps in 2nd half. Also, if you are watching the game, don't get frustrated and get down on our guys if things are rough at times. They will keep playing hard and I expect they are in it all the way to the end.
