This thread has a list, at the top, he can update so you can go to one spot to get the rundown. Justified I think.

This is perfect. All we need is a list of who they are and where they are from. The only thing lacking is what other schools offered each player.

Not that it matters, but is their any particular reason that none of our signees had offers or interest from Tulane or La Tech?

Because most of the in State talent that we would compete with them to sign was already signed in early period or was already committed to those programs. The early signing period has a lot to do with who we offered bc a lot of talent was off the board. The state was also in a down year for talent.

The early signing period has really changed the recruiting game. It will benefit us going forward if we can have most of the class signed in December and only have to focus on recruiting a select number of kids for February.

You are right, it doesn’t matter when our signees they had interest or offers from the SEC, AAC, and the Big Ten

According to 247 Sports, of the top 100 Louisiana football players in this 2018 class. We signed 1 and he was ranked at #84.

UL has to start competing for kids in the top 40-50 range. We definitely need to to sign 3 or 4 from the back half of that group of 100.

I mentioned that in the other thread. Hell we need to start competing for the top 100, let alone top 40 or 50. Tulane with 7 and La Tech with 6 out of the top 100. We got out recruited big time in the state compared to those 2 schools. Hope that starts after this year.
