Was it the plan to get these young freshman as much experience this early or has that kinda happen by default?

you were coaching at third base last night, will we be seeing you there in the future or was that a one game wonder?

Why can’t he get on the field?

Is it true that Handsome will be redshirting?

What will Hogan’s pitch count be Sunday?

Is there plans to move Schmidty to Friday and Jack to the midweek?

Why have we seen Spears, Faecher and Coker in the lineup more often?

Why do we struggle with missing so many signs over the last 3 years?

Did DMo seem to gain some confidence back last night?

    Will Stoelke be available Saturday?

Seemed like the guys were looser and more free at the plate last night? What is your opinion on why?
    Fair questions, all.

    Anyone catch the answers?

Todd Lott: "Not playing because he was not hitting as DH earlier this season." Seriously, that was the answer.

Follow up might have been "20th rounder out of high school. Hit .300+ last summer with wood bats. What is the problem?"

    Handsome: Not redshirting. Taking BP

    Hogan: Might Pitch this weekend

Freshman: They are playing because they are part of the "best nine".

Missed Signs: Yep, we have missed signs.

Lott was the opening day DH. Struggled.
Stolke should be available this weekend
Doesn’t think handsome will redshirt. He’s currently swinging. But not running yet
No decision on what schmittys role will be next week just yet. There are several possibilities.
everyone in the dugout was happy for Dmo.

The lack of answers (and flat out unwillingness to talk about him) on Lott is very very troubling.. and frustrating.

Lack of follow up is an issue, too. "Not hitting well? Oh. OK, then. Thanks."

If he finishes the year 0 for 13, I won't expect him back.

I don't expect Bab to blast a kid.............or JT for that matter.

As far as Lott goes, from what I have seen....It appears he just really doesn't care one way or the other. Zero emotion or passion. Basically, the opposite of LaHare. That may just be his personality. I don't know.

Dropped both of those subjects like a hot potato right out of the oven. Understand the JT subject, but would have liked to hear a little color on what they may be doing to try to get Lott back in the lineup.

The fact of the matter is that the "hitters" in the 1B and DH holes need to be producing (hitting above .300, slugging in the .500 - .550 range and OB in the .400 - .450 range) and for all practical purposes we have gotten little from each spot. This is a kid that was hoped to be in one of those positions.

Well, we can only guess when those that know are silent.
