Bil_Lee.are u taking questions from the Leslie's?! If I may.
If my understanding is correct about redshirting a player.they can not practice with the team if they are not on the 35 man roster? They have to practice and get there work in on there own. With that being said.what is the determining factor to send a kid out to a juco as opposed to keeping them here as a redshirt? Is the thought process the same for a pitcher vs a position player. And how successful are we on retaining the ones who are sent to play juco ball? I'll hang up and listen.
