Thread: Louisiana Athletics Inks Two-Year Agreement With Cox Sports Television

  1. Default Re: Cox sports 2 year deal

    😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Wait wait wait... I thought this was impossible? Couldn’t get done?

I tell ya, I love when topics come back like this. We hammered SF on this mercilessly, and his booty lickers got so booty hurt over these kinds of things. 😂

    THANK YOU BRYAN MAGGARD

As a direct TV customer, I wish I would have known this years ago!

Yes, it will likely still be blacked out. If it's blacked out on the WATCH ESPN app, it should also be blacked out through the DIRECTV feature.

I share your pain - CST has some presence many years ago, but it seems that most people don't have access to it anymore...

I’m elated. This’ll be another huge plus for recruiting.

How about Ragin Cajun All Access which has been streaming for free? I'm assuming that will also be blacked out for these games.

i dont think our remaining mens games are on there, the article had a list of what games were being shown.

Well crap. This would have been great news 3 years ago. Today it just means there’s 15 fewer games I (and probably a huge majority of fans) won’t be able to see.

  9. Default New UL-CST deal: spring football game, baseball, softball

The CST broadcasts will be produced in conjunction with Jumbo Sports Television.

The agreement is independent of ongoing talks between UL and Learfield Communications for multimedia rights to Cajun athletic events, it’s been learned.

All games aired on Cox Sports Television will also be carried online by ESPN3 outside of the CST viewing areas.

All home basketball games are on ragincajuns.com. Exception is if they are carried on an ESPN platform. Just because it does not show it there now does not mean the webcast won't occur. Regardless of this, getting our sports programs into the Baton Rouge and New Orleans area via CST is a positive development. I noted this is a two year agreement. I wonder if some basketball games will be carried by CST next year.

I am curious to see how pro LSU they will be on that baseball broadcast this year.
