I lived in the Denver area for a while until moving back to Lafayette last year. Other than seeing the shops with the green + on them while driving around town, you really didn’t notice the marijuana thing unless you went out to bars or concerts or hung out with people that partook. Again, something you’re just as likely to see or smell in Lafayette or New Orleans.
And things that draw them here would probably make you say” do we really want a kid who is coming here because of blank” Kids choose schools based on all kinds of reasons and some of them are ridiculous...like uniforms or a shoe contract or having an Xbox and ping pong tables in the lounge. They aren’t all well rounded, head on straight great athletes..you aren’t going to find 105 of those..not here..not if you want to win.

On the same token, I wouldn't dream of forbidding my kids, who will ultimately have to stand on their own two feet and take responsibility for their own choices and actions, the choice of attending college in a state like Colorado. Seems shortsighted to me.
My statement was more in general to why some kids might choose Colorado over anywhere, not McGee specifically.

Methinks somebody here likes the herb, and I ain't talking about the recruit.

I'm like you. Never saw nor heard of it, I'm giving my age now. If someone would have said something about pot I would have told him, yes they were all him where I went, go to the cafeteria, they can help you with a pot......

Frencie you’re older than dirt. That term has been around since I was a kid in the fifties.

Here’s a source, your cooking utensil isn’t far off.
