I really believe the staff and team has that one game at a time mentality which limits the pressure and expectations.
Marlin said in the press conference today that they haven’t even talked about the game Saturday against Georgia Southern and that they are taking it one game at a time.

That's because Georgia State is the best team in the league not named Louisiana and we should destroy Southern. LOL

Sadly, if we sweep the weekend, our two best wins of the year will be GaSt and GaSo. If you want to know how we can go 26-3 regular season against d1 teams and not get an at large bid, there is your answer.

Vob. We get it. The schedule sucks. We get it.

The more they hear your name in the regular season the deeper the consideration for the postseason.

    Thanks, I hadn't realized that.

He’s got 5-6 letter abbreviations for a lot of teams. MARYCA? ETNST? NCASHV? I know what they mean, but that’s probably not what the athletic dept. wants either.

The schedule is what it is. If we do not win the tournament I feel we should not get an at large bid. I don’t think the committee will want to give a weak conference like ours a second bid. The fact we have no signature wins will be our ultimate undoing. That said, we have an incredibly easy path to get into the tournament. We will be favored in every game and will have a relative home field advantage in the tournament. This weekend is all about seeding. Two wins and a 12 seed becomes a real possibility.
