Will we still be seeing the split grip and the long ball hitters?
Since the split was mostly used by slappers, I think you'll still see it occasionally still, but Coach Glasco has the same philosophy as Mike with respect to teaching hitters for power.
Thanks for the compliment. Softball is the only team I have been able to stay invested in, so I try to keep track of what's happening with them.
Casey Dixon is likely to be this season's ace. She has 4 pitches and 2 out pitches. She is already at Kylee's level if Kylee has beaten her control problems.
Dixon and Kirsten Pruett were my picks based solely upon their accomplishments in travel ball and Texas HS softball. But I have not seen a single practice or scrimmage.
I don't know, but could it be that he has attended scrimmages and they haven't performed well? Usually Terry has a good grasp on the UL softball program and attends practices.
I will say this, hopefully they can coach some of those kids up because there is no headliner right now in that group.
Been to a few scrimmages, not impressed, lots of work to be done all the way around. Hopefully it will all come together
I think we will be alright in the field just want to see what our pitching staff looks like and how they handle the pressure in the first couple of games before the gators come to town.
Ellen is working hard but it’s shaky. No pun intended but I don’t think we will have anyone that can go 7 innings
You can X out O’neal she isn’t released from previous school.
I may make another list as we get closer to the 8th. At this point, it's getting apparent that Casidy Chaumont will be somewhere in the lineup, whether infield, outfield or DH. They want her bat in the lineup. We'll have 3 years of Raina after Kelli graduates.
