I have always said that in order for this program to get to where we all want it to be we have to start beating the techs, so miss', Memphis' and Houstons of the world, in recruiting. All of our commits appear to only have offers from FCS, D1 or D2 schools. I hope these coaches know what there doing and can see talent that no other FBS teams see.
Don't forget they got a late start
I agree with Soldier. I don't think I'd judge their ability to recruit based on this year's class due to the late start. I'd give them a chance to run camps and invite prospects here for the summer and then go through a full recruiting cycle before getting worried.
That article was confusing as hell. He talks about Arizona St and then refers to them as the Wildcats, which is the mascot of Arizona. Arizona St is the Sun Devils.
Regardless of a late start, we shouldn't make offers just to use scholarships. IOW all offers should be for players deserving FBS slots. In a four year period you'll have 15 more scholarships than you can have on scholarships.
Having said all that, I'm trusting these guys.
