Good burger, yeah, great , meh. Suggesting I'm a cultist, laughable.

I'm sure there is a place you like I may think the food/building/service is utter dog ____. For example, several of you have stated your desire of a certain restaurant. I'll never set foot in there again. Roaches crawling out the napkin holder was all it took to keep us away. Privately, I'd tell you. Publicly, I won't trash a local business by name when someone simply asked for suggestions, or put someone down for liking it. Especially one steeped in UL history.

It's a simple opinion. No more, no less.

For some it’s difficult to subtract the nostalgia and be objective. This is not a negative...but when someone is affected by nostalgia and someone else is not, they will likely see the two things vastly different. Food...music....hometowns....all examples.

Not directed at you C4L. Just an observation.

Many great burgers in Lafayette. Few served with as much nostalgia as Judice Inn. To each his own.

This is more or less what I was referring to. I know a lot of people that are indifferent to Judice Inn or think it's good, but not the greatest thing ever. There's probably a large portion Judice Inn fans who grew up eating the food, or had friends in college who worshiped at their burger altar and they became fans by their friend's influence.

There is one not too far from my wife's relatives in Kingwood, Tx. Always make a pass before we leave.

Panchos is one of those places where you have to leave with your belt undone/pants unbuttoned.
