I think Marlin is finally getting this thing developed into a sustaining program. Success breeds success and with players like this coming in, the sky is the limit for the Cajuns.

I agree with this. Now if we improve our home non conference schedule, we can position ourselves much better for postseason seeding in future years.

Well, we're in a pretty good position right now. I'd say about the 12 seat is the best will ever be able to hope for, and I believe this team is a 12 seed if we get in the dance.

no way 12 seed is the best we can hope for, this team can still improve there seeding. im expecting a 10 seed if we only lose 1 more game this year. of course everything is a moving target at this point.

LOL. Not a chance. UALR only got a 12 seed a couple years ago even by winning the conference and conference tournament and having an RPI of 42. I don't think we only lose 1 more game this year but even if we do, I don't see how we got our RPI down that much. You are going to see lower level P5 teams in good conferences getting 10 seeds. Right now, I think something around 12 would be the lowest we would get and that's assuming we continue on the path we are going right now.

We gotta get in first but...I'll take a 12. Just might give a shot to advance.

Another point in this thread is that the statline shows how good Julien and Smart are. They both come from power programs and will both have very good shots at winning state titles in their respective classes and they were the only players to score in double digits with the exception of one kid from MP and it wasn't even close. They both went for over 30. They clearly controlled the game and stood out over a lot of good players.
