    FWIW, ESPN is projecting a final BPI ranking of 8. Using Warren Nolan, our final RPI is projected at 49, so we are seemingly still on track for your + 20 or more positive differential.

    They have some really good wins, most recently Wichita State, and they are 15-4.

    Also, neither LSU nor Tulane is a bad loss.

    Also, even though our projected BPI is 8, we are currently projected as a 13 seed vs Auburn in the South Region. This would be an absolutely dead on seeding based on an RPI of 49, assuming all teams with RPI of 1-48 make the tournament. If BPI were actually considered, we should be a 9 or 10 seed.

    Projected final BPI is not #8. Don’t think the formula for BPI can project out to the end of the year.

    I think you are correct. ESPN's BPI site is a bit confusing.
