He's a take in my book....definite redshirt, play in rotation as a RS frosh, possible 3 year starter and definitely athletic enough and long enough to play tackle. Has a good frame where he will be plenty big enough when his time to have a big impact arrives...

Reminds me a lot of Grant Horst but taller .. I believe Sale and Looney will turn this kid into a monster in 3 years

Grant was a good prospect.....shame he couldn't really play up to his potential last season because of his shoulder injury....the kid was a fine leader and was a tough player....

I'm not sure on that one....I'll bet Cajun T can answer that....my guess would be yes, he was on the previous staffs radar....

Mitchell is a late bloomer, grew "2" inches this year at age 17. Went to very few camps and he didn't put much video up on Hudl until late. The word is he plays with a mean streak and they feel he is still not finished growing.

The fact that neither Tech or Monroe offered him should tell you all you need to know. You can never have enough linemen though and maybe he will surprise.

Tells me They can't recognize talent...kid is probably a 2 year project just to get his weight/muscle mass up, otherwise he'll be a major force here for 3 years..
