Correct. Lannister is 15 years behind the times.

My children will have a better chance of gaining admission to Rice. The most likely route for in-state private school students (homeschooling is considered a private school) to the university of Texas is to transfer in after your freshman year.

The whole admission process sucks. Kids transfer their senior year of HS to poorer schools to make the top7%. At my kids school if you make a B you are out of contention for top 7. I believe UT and aTm’s admission standards are a boon for TX St, UH, LSU and the like.

Agreed. Texas is losing some good students due to the admissions process ... and the next tier of schools benefit. My children also have a better chance of gaining admission by moving out of state and applying to UT as out of state residents ... though this means that you also pay out of state tuition.

That's because they won't play the backup that they have!

Phard317 could be talking about Hardy.

I was just thinking, man I sure hope someone starts sowing dissention in our 17-3 basketball team. That’s would be sweet.

I bet PJ would do fine were he to play more. It's just that it is tough to get time when a guy who started at times in the SEC leads the team. He just needs to continue to work hard so he will be prepared when his time comes. I do agree that we don't need to disrupt chemistry on this team. I trust PJ (or Davis and Stalcup for that matter) has no plans of doing so. It has to be difficult on those guys considering they all played more a year ago. As long as they keep supporting all their teammates good things will continue to happen and they will reap the rewards as well.
