    Offenses were a lot different in the 80’s and 90’s..those LB’ers had a lot more opportunities.

    For the most part....but some were similar.....we ran a combo of the flex bone option plus some run and shoot passing.....others ran run and shoot....the players that I posted about could play in any era of college football....

    When Stokes met Spurrier at midfield after the game of course he mentioned Orlando Thomas. He also made special mention of Charles Poole....said he was an SEC linebacker....Charles loved to smack those ball carriers...

    Frank had over 200 tackles in one season.
