Louisiana football head coach Billy Napier has announced that former Southeastern Louisiana head coach Ron Roberts has joined the program as the new Defensive Coordinator.

UL football announced Friday that it has filled two coaching positions, including the hiring of Southeastern Louisiana head coach Ron Roberts as its new defensive coordinator.

Roberts resigned his position with the Lions, who went 6-5 last season, on Friday to take the UL job.

He was the DC at northwestern state when we hired him & his defense was pretty terrible but created turnovers and you know how much our previous coach loved turnovers
