Regardless of what happens Saturday, one pleasant moment from this road trip is a play made by Justin Miller (He likes to be called Thoroughbred for those of you who like nicknames). Cedric Russell is going to the line for a one and one. He makes the first but misses the second. Cedric hustles to outfight two Mavs in the corner on a funny bounce off the rim. He corrals it and hits Bartley with the layup for a nice assist. Once he made that play, I knew the game was ours. Not bad for a guy some were criticizing during the game thread.

Miller gets hate because he does force shots but he is overall a very solid contributor. I keep track of stats per minutes played and he currently ranks 3rd on the team in assists, 2nd in FT attempts (also 3rd in FT%), 2nd in rebounds, and 3rd in scoring.

I've been using this old man wisdom for years with all the ladies in my life. The cool thing is... they all buy my "oh wow... it was actually an hour later than I thought"... and they're none the wiser. It is the foolish man that struggles and fights, gets mad and ruins his chances of harmony... because he doesn't know the "tell them it's an hour earlier than it's actually scheduled" rule of a happy life.

Agreed, sometimes you can see Miller filter shuts down. He’s gonna shoot, but not that often. Sure I’d like that bad shot filter to work more often, but overall I’m happy with his share ratios.

Dang. Tx State was free last night vs. ULM... I actually switched to catch the end of that game (after the Cajun / UTA game ended) that ULM coulda won... Not sure why ULM would be on 3 but not the Cajuns - in the same venue. Maybe it is one of those that pops up at that last minute.

Unbelievable. The top 2 teams in the conference playing with the conference lead on the line and espn3 is not carrying the game, but they do have Troy vs Coastal.
