Thread: Louisiana continues historic start

  1. UL Basketball Louisiana continues historic start

It was the biggest home crowd of the season with an announced attendance of 5,813.

It was an alumni homecoming game with former UL basketball players going back 50 years in the house to see this team they've read and heard so much about.

Foote, you are selling this team short.
Settling for 1-1 on the Texas road trip would be a disappointment.
    Sweeping would be tremendous!

A road sweep....that will be very difficult to do.

    Having said that, it's doable.

But we really have to play well. Can't have scoring lulls. Can't have defensive breakdowns. Can't have a bad shooting night.

Gant scraping off the rust last night could go a long way towards accomplishing those goals.

I don't see these guys having a defensive lapse. To me they look like they've bought into the offense getting fueled by the D. I hope they adjust if they are denied the 3 and don't force shots. Things have been pretty easy for them so far.

Have to say last night's crew allowed the most physical game I've seen in a while.

It almost looks like they are having fun on defense, which is awesome. If they are having fun on that end of the court they will continue to work hard at it instead of just waiting til they get the ball back. It looks like they want to be the next guy with a steal, I'm loving the D

Was very impressed with the crew last night. They had one maybe two calls that I actually said wtf about. Definitely didn’t feel like a Saturday night in the sun belt

The zebras let them play. At half, the refs left the court all laughing; if you got it recorded, they’re at center court. But then again, when one team is getting their skull crushed, everyone just wants it over with and go home.

  10. UL Basketball Re: Louisiana continues historic start

I saw Miller shove off on offense in the paint, not get called and a second later a ULM player called on a shooting foul as Miller drove towards the basket. 😂😂😂
