Rodeo going on in town too so lots of competition. Also, I am sure that was the biggest crowd in the SBC this year and maybe in two years. I would be interested in what the crowds were in CUSA last night. I bet few of any were larger. I would not be surprised if it was larger than most AAC crowds. Reference is needed when making these type of comments.
Sat night the next closest sunbelt team had 1,800 people Tulane had 1,900. McNeese is averaging 900 people per game

I've always been of the opinion "world renown country club to Carencro, La." That speaks volumes.

I mean we only drew half of what the blessed SEC school drew when playing their most hated rival. If we did that in football we'd have 50,000 at the game, but I guess that would still be a poor reflection on the fans.

Yes. You don't get to beat the crap out of teams all that often so when you do, you should take full advantage of resting some of your core players. The last thing I'd want to see happen is a guy miss a month with a sprained ankle or knee they suffered in a 30 point win with a couple minutes to go.

Highest was 6072 at UTEP. Lowest was 985 at FAU. Most were in the 2-3000 range. MTSU, who are having a year similar to ours but have played better opponents OOC, (hence their RPI of 28) had 4900.

CUSA conference RPI rank is 16, so better this year than the SBC.

Or just to get him some rest for the late season grind.

Interesting UTEP had highest support but they are not having a great year. I think they are doing better since Tim Floyd resigned however. If we could get a crowd of close to 7000 it would likely be better than any CUSA team draws all season.

I hear ya. I can’t tell you the last time I listened to his program. The Yankee pseudo shock jock approach might work for some, it’s just not for me. Besides, they are an LSU station. Why the heck give them market share.

It’s like Lowe’s v Home Depot. If you are a Saints fan, you don’t shop at Home Depot.

Ha! Never put this together but since Home Depot HQ is in Atlanta I guess they do support Falcons?

I worked at HD for a while in college so I tend to shop there more often because I am more used to it.
