LEBANON -- Cumberland Director of Athletics Ron Pavan namedBrad Bustle the Interim Head Coach for football on Tuesday, effectiveimmediately. Bustle takes the place of Donnie Suber, who resigned to become thedefensive coordinator at Tennessee Tech this week. Suber will remain employedat Cumberland until January 16.
Bustle just finished his fifth season on the Cumberlandstaff, serving as the offensive line coach for the Phoenix and addingCo-Offensive Coordinator duties this year.

Bustle spent one season as the defensive line coach atCatholic High School in New Iberia, La., in 2010, grading film along with filmbreakdown, game planning and calling defensive plays in games. The Panthersreached the LHSAA playoffs that season.
He played collegiately at Louisiana-Lafayette, earning fourletters for the Ragin' Cajuns at guard and center in a no-huddle offense.Bustle was voted First Team All-Sun Belt Conference as a junior and senior andvoted Offensive Team Captain his senior campaign as well. He was also on thePreliminary Watch List for the Rotary Lombardi Award in 2009.
Bustle signed a free agent contract with the Hartford [CT]Colonials in the United Football League after his college career.
He earned his bachelor's in General Studies fromLouisiana-Lafayette in 2009 and worked on his master's in InstructionalTechnology while at Virginia Tech. He is the son of former Louisiana-Lafayettehead coach and Virginia Tech offensive coordinator Ricky Bustle.
