Harold was my next door neighbor in McCullogh Dorm. He was a great guy, he and his roommate both played at St. Aug and graduated in 88, I went to Brother Martin and graduated the same year. Harold was and is a great guy. Last I heard he was Assistant and Head S/C coach for the NE Patriots, he is now the S/C coach for the Detroit Lions. He had a great career in the CFL for many years.

Coaches were giving me the business when I brought him in as a walk on...said he was too short......I told them I would have the last laugh...I did.

My point, of course, was there are gold nuggets to be mined out there....

Except that Mayfield was a preferred walk-on at Texas Tech ... he chose Texas Tech after his dream school (TCU) did not give him a sniff. He had offers from lesser profile schools. It was fun watching him in high school ... but is probably the fourth best Lake Travis QB since 2008. The soph Hudson Card has an excellent chance to be the best to come out of that program.

Brian, Baseball right around corner. Any idea what our rpi will be after the classic? Joking, I just wanted to be the first to ask.

The narrative during the CFP was that Baker's dream school was OU all along and he settled with the preffered walk-on at TT.
