Will we be able to have a two deep roster at the LB position in the spring? Napier may need to dedicate 30% of is recruiting spots to this position. The attrition at this position has been unbelievable.
Has he landed at another program?
I asked him not to handle it that way, but he didn't listen. Mitchell is a good kid, but he's a momma's boy that needs to mature.
As for Lucas or any other coach, they aren't part of the staff any longer and he still didn't want to stay through spring football? He wasn't guaranteed a starting position and didn't like what he was told by Napier. I wish him luck in returning to Texas.
My first and only response to this news is, "who cares?" Let him go. He was good. He wasn't irreplaceable. And with the level of talent this new coaching staff will be bringing in, we won't have any trouble finding a new linebacker.
I say good luck to the young man and let's move on with players who are Ragin' Cajuns and want to be here.
Did anyone notice that our all world punter from a season ago, was the backup at Cal.
He punted 5 times all season for 40.8 average with 2 of those inside the 20.
Dylan Klumph was the starter with 46 punts for 42.96 average. Klumph comes back next year as well as both will be Juniors according to Cal's website. I understand he wanted to leave, but why go to a school that already had a Ray Guy Award watch candidate that would be ahead of you.
He’s not our problem. He chose to leave, goodbye and good luck
