Boy, was I wrong! Didn't see this coming. Holding a team to 17 points at the half and leading by 29 was not what I was expecting to see! And, all of this without Gant! Hope he gets back soon.
On the other hand, nice to see the best crowd of the year at the dome; 4,329.
For what it's worth, in the pregame interview, when Jaybird asked Marlin about Gant's absence last night, he responded quickly and confidently that they weren't going to let it slow them down or alter the gameplan. Looks like his confidence in the team's response was correct.
Good post there. However, in today's environment it may be quite awhile before a "name" team comes to the Dome again. I am not sure I will be alive to see that happen. I have been out of town for a week and was not able to follow the last three games closely. From what I have read, the defense/rebounding in two of the three games has been suffocating. That will need to continue for the team to have success. That is especially so with Gant being sidelined for quite awhile. I will make one prediction. First loss that occurs will see a little negative over reaction. That happened after the Clemson game and I was somewhat guilty of it myself.
Fyi, every remaining men's game and all but one of the ladies is available to be steamed online from the host institution web site or ESPN3.
See my calendar for details.
