Link was referring to the state Enterprise Zone Tax revenues which provide a lion’s share of the Commission’s operating funds.
With the election of Lt. Gov. Mitch Landrieu as mayor of New Orleans and Gov. Bobby Jindal considering a move to abolish the lieutenant governor’s office, the fate of those revenues might be diverted to other tourism promotions, particularly to New Orleans.
