ACC and yes, the weather played more of a role than apathy for the program. BC is much improved this year as they've already beaten Duke in conference and nearly pulled it out against a solid Clemson team. They should be middle of the pack in the ACC this year which is still likely the best conference in the country although the Big 12 will have something to say about that this year.

I suggest you get a replay of the Cav/Celtic game. Filled to the rafters in Boston same general time and exact date.

I looked it up. You are partially correct. The attendance was just north of what our average attendance was last year. However, BC had the second lowest average attendance of all P5 schools last year at just over 4,200 people per game so they are not the norm of the ACC which is the second highest attended conference in basketball at nearly 12,000 people per game. So, you are correct that the game was not well attended but that seems to be the norm for BC in recent years and has absolutely no correlation to the SBC.

Are you comparing an NBA game attendance featuring the two top teams in the Eastern Conference with an ACC basketball game attendance at a school with not much history in NCAA basketball?

Most colleges in pro cities don’t do well. I️ have friends in Boston and they don’t know or care anything about college sports.

Lebron will draw a sellout every night although Boston is one of the higher attended franchises in the NBA right now but I think he was comparing apples and oranges. I was just commenting on his thought that the ACC attendance may be more like the SBC outside of Duke and a handful of teams and that's not the case at all.

Agree, and if there wasn’t a blizzard and a cavs/Celtics game, what most think is a preview of the eastern conference finals, i’d Imagine the BC game would have been much better attended. Still, in general Boston doesn’t care about college sports.

Well, after Express made his comments I went and looked and BC is kind of the step child of the ACC. Their averag attendance is not much higher than UL's from year to year so he was right but in regards to the conference, there is no comparison from ACC to SBC as ACC is the second highest attended conference in all of basketball and many years is tops.
