I love the fact that Coach said we would load up on defensive coaches, splitting the secondary and linebackers. Have we done that before? That could make a world of difference.

I believe it is the DC who is coaching a position and then 4 others on the defensive side of the ball.

Not necessarily. We can now have 10 assistants. 5 on each side of the ball. Seehard listed 5.
