Roberts is widely known for his defense. Rebowe is not.

Southeastern was 64th in total defense, 74th in Red Zone defense, and 46th in yards per play allowed last season. They were better than that in 2014 and 2015 on defense, but have been trending down since then.

After two straight playoff appearances, Southeastern has gone 4-7, 7-4, and 6-5 over the last three seasons.

Roberts hired Dave Arranda as co-DC in his first year as head coach at Delta State in 2007. Arranda left after one season.

Just remember Clutch, this is the same fan group who said losing their highest scoring basketball player because he wanted to transfer wouldn't matter, he wasn't a team player any way. LOL
