Exactly, he was better than the senior running back from Florida this year. Calais should have been our 3rd back and he definitely should have seen more playing time after Mitchell got hurt

If Johnson is added and you have Juluke...that is massive for Nola recruiting. They are in the conversation with Hull and Wilson for best recruiters in that area.

Yes, I'm aware that Johnson turned down LSU. Money has not been an issue thus far for Napier putting together a staff. Juluke was making similar money at Texas Tech, so Johnson is not completely out of the question. Kerry Joseph is another name that has come up, the Sale connection comes into play with him.

According to reports, one of the reasons Johnson turned down LSU was because of the way O handled the Juluke situation. Johnson felt it would hurt HIS reputation in NOLA if he took the position, based on feedback from NOLA area HS coaches.

I don't disagree that it will take good money to get him to Louisiana thought.
