When you posted this did you have in mind "did" or "would" carry the Assistant Head Coach title.

How rare is it, for Strength & Conditioning coaches to carry the Associate Head Coach title?

My idea was ‘would’ because both coordinator titles were gone. Pretty surprised that it went to S&C coach. I am not aware of any others.

The interesting thing here is that S&C coaches are not subject to the same contact rules as the 10 on field assistants. Hence, they can work with the players in the offseason. So, even though he is Associate HC, he still isn’t an on the field coach.

Johnson made $175k at Memphis last season

I am guessing they would cost us $475k between the two of them to be here. Add another $600k for the two coordinators and you are at $1.1M for four of your ten coaches. Dez and Toney probably $150k between the two of them, so guessing $750k for the remaining open coaching spots.

Yes, that is what I meant. So, I think we can get three more coaches in the $200k range and one in the $150k range.

That would mean SEVEN coaches on this staff making more than ANY coach on Hud's staff. Truly mind boggling changes.
