I think the DC deal is done. It’s got to be a bowl situation that’s keeping him from going public. In other words, I don’t just think Napier is waiting until the bowl or bowls are over to make his moves. But there could even be bowl bonuses at stake for some of his staff.

I too am sure it’s done, just tight lipped till bowls are coached and bonuses are paid out. Sounds pretty logical to me!

Not sure he is ready for DC role, but financially and recruiting wise, definitely makes sense. He is making $275k at Alabama. Lowest paid assistant at Bama.
