They were ranked dead last for the past 4 years this year they broke into the top 100 playing against the best offenses in the country week in and week out

Louisiana Lafayette: Source tells FootballScoop with Karl Scott now headed to Alabama (per sources), Billy Napier is considering offering his defensive coordinator position to Louisiana Tech DC Blake Baker. Baker was promoted to defensive coordinator for the 2015 season after Manny Diaz left to go to Mississippi State.

Baker was a recent follow on twitter by Napier. Another was Brandon Staley who is the OLB coach for the bears. Was a DC at FCS level before the bears job.

Young guy with experience at Boise and Ark State. Defense allowed 25ppg. Think it would be a good hire. I like the trend of hiring young hungry coaches.
