I'd also like to extend one more huge thank you to the gentleman that handed me four tickets as my two sons and I were walking up to the ticket booth. He said he didn't want them to go to waste.
And then we walked into the arena and found ourselves 15 rows up right at mid court! Another example of the kindness and generosity of the people associated with this university, and of the Acadiana area in general.
Sir, if you are a RP member, and read this, my boys and I had a great time, and your generosity was one of the reasons why. THANK YOU. And I hope that you and your family have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Trust me that I will absolutely pay it forward and do something special for someone else, if for no other reason than to honor the gesture you made to us tonight.
I'm so very proud to be a Lafayette native and a Ragin Cajun and tonight made me even more proud.
Actually I think he’d get about as much time as a Cajun as at UNO. He cannot stay on the floor more than about 8 minutes here or there.
Audio for a recent game was great. Inconsistent to say the least. At least it’s free, in the past was bad and costed real money.
I don't like the idea of broadcasting the home games for free. people need to bring their butts to the Dome!
That was an Alden suggestion from his report. Most of the locals are going to go to the games anyway. This helps get the fans/alumni outside of Acadiana the ability to tune in.
It was pay before and barely anyone subscribed to the service anyway.
The numbers were in his report. Getting broadcast equipment and getting those games on ESPN3 is imperative.
I know troy, app st, GA Southern, UTA already have every single home event on ESPN3. May be others too. Gotta get the brand out there.
