I'm thinking most of staff will be sent packing. I'm sure Napier will want to get guys who he knows and trust.

I think I'd only want Des to remain.

I've been digging around to see if I can put any connections together on guys he has worked with in past. Problem is most of are at the top of the power conferences.

He does have 2 ties on current staff. Charlie harbison and stringer were on 2010 Clemson staff.

I would think Sale takes OC/OLine job and Napier just calls plays.

Sale takes OLine and Tony Hull takes running backs. They Co-OC and bring in Pooka and Lindsey Scott

Harbison is a damn good coach, but we’d have to pay him to stay. If Nape wants him.

I would imagine assistant pools for teams will go up a little bit given the recent change of having the 10th assistant.

If we somehow get Toney Hall our classes might break into the top 30

When we're able to prove on the field that our superior coaches, facilities, and athletes have put us on a different level than Tech, I'll celebrate. Until then, I refuse to anoint another coach as the next coming of Saban.

Four New Orleans Bowl wins in four years will not accomplish this. If bowl wins meant what they used to, we'd have left LaTech eating our dust four five years ago. What we need our new staff to deliver are conference championships, signature wins over P5 opponents, and consistent wins over in-state competition.

Still, all signs point to this being a very good hire and a very good move in the right direction.
