I would think Sale takes OC/OLine job and Napier just calls plays.
I would imagine assistant pools for teams will go up a little bit given the recent change of having the 10th assistant.
When we're able to prove on the field that our superior coaches, facilities, and athletes have put us on a different level than Tech, I'll celebrate. Until then, I refuse to anoint another coach as the next coming of Saban.
Four New Orleans Bowl wins in four years will not accomplish this. If bowl wins meant what they used to, we'd have left LaTech eating our dust four five years ago. What we need our new staff to deliver are conference championships, signature wins over P5 opponents, and consistent wins over in-state competition.
Still, all signs point to this being a very good hire and a very good move in the right direction.
